The Simpsons Ride - Technical Rehearsal

First and foremost, if you are looking for a highly detailed spoiler, look no further. If you want to be surprised come ride time, close out of this page immediately.

There is a lot to cover and to make sure nothing is missed I will hit everything exactly as I witnessed it today. I experienced the attraction twice today so we're going to go through two rounds of pictures and then at the very end of the report I will break down the actual ride as best as I can remember. Let's begin...

The wall is obviously down. It went down late last night. I must say that it is very strange seeing the building without the wall. It looks phenomenal though and I can't wait to see how it looks at night when it is all lit up.

I wasn't sure what this was at first, but it is located next to the Simpsons family in the ride vehicle...

...so I am guessing it is supposed to resemble one of those "insert a quarter" rides that you find outside of Wal-Mart.

The wait time was posted as 60 minutes, but in actuality was only about 45. ... How do you like 'dem uniforms?

After you walk through Krusty's mouth you split off into the two separate lines. Express wasn't running today or any other day while "technical rehearsals" are going on.

As we wait we are entertained with Krusty's favorite moments, as well as "live" footage from Krustyland.

The TVs places around the queue are fantastic. They are placed very low though so I'm worried about the damage they may take from obnoxious guests.

"Live" footage shows the Simpsons waiting in line. Homer comes back with cotton candy with ice cream that has been deep fried, deep fried again, and "deep fried again, again". He tries to take a bite but Bart rams it down his throat and Homer begins to choke. Marge asks if he wants the Heimlich Maneuver, but he tells her to just push it in further. He swallows it whole.

More "live" footage from inside Krustyland.

This made me chuckle.

Just in case you forget where you are.

Here is another Favorite Moment that spoofs "it's a small world".
