Halloween Horror Nights Orlando United Field TRIP Announced
By Sledge
What is the Halloween Horror Nights 18 Orlando United Field TRIP?
The Field TRIP is an event that the Staff of Orlando United will be hosting on Saturday, September 27th at Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights 18.
What is Halloween Horror Nights?
Universal describes the event as:
[Halloween Horror Nights] features all new horrifying haunted houses, intense scare zones and an all-new "Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure" containing parodies from TV, movies, music and more.
Plus, many rides and attractions will be open during select hours. This is a separately ticketed event and not included with regular park admission tickets.
Who is invited to attend the Halloween Horror Nights Field TRIP?
Orlando United members and their guests are invited to attend. There is no limit on how many guests you can bring, so bring the whole family -- and neighbors too!
Do you have to be a certain age to attend?
Halloween Horror Nights does not have an age limit, nor does the Field TRIP. Please keep in mind that this event is not intended for children or those that are easily frightened. Also, the Orlando United Staff will not serve as babysitters to minors attending without a guardian.
How do we sign up?
If you're registered on the Orlando United forums then you are already half way there. Just send an email to hhntrip@orlandounited.com that you will be attending, the number of guests, and if you will be arriving late.
How long does the event last?
Halloween Horror Nights starts at 6:30PM and ends at midnight. We ask that you arrive and check in with the Staff around 5:15 in the hub area next to the Credit Card stand after you leave the parking garage and before you go through security to get into CityWalk. We will be heading to the park's front gate at 5:45 and cannot wait for your group to arrive. If you are not there by the time we line up you'll need to meet us once we are inside the park. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance since the ticket window gets very busy. If you plan on being late you will be able to join up with the group when you arrive. However, you will not be able to jump in line with us and will have to wait until we have exited the haunted house. We will provide you with a phone number to contact.
Will there be t-shirts for the Field TRIP? How much will they cost?
Yes, we will have special t-shirts made for the Field TRIP. The cost of the t-shirts will be determined closer to the event once we determine the cost to make the shirts. The shirts will be as cheap as we can reasonably sell them.
Do we have to purchase the t-shirt?
Of course not! It makes a great souvenir, but feel free to wear your other Orlando United t-shirts or any other clothing that meets Universal Orlando's dress code.
Will we be eating during the Field TRIP?
We encourage you to eat dinner before you arrive. There won't be an official stop to eat a meal, but you will be able to purchase snacks and drinks to enjoy while waiting in the queue lines.
Are we allowed to purchase alcohol at the event?
We ask the people who are old enough to drink to drink responsibly. Please consider the fact that there will be minors at the event. Minors are not permitted to drink and should not attempt to purchase or have someone purchase alcohol for them. Purchasing alcohol for minors is not only illegal, but something we will not tolerate. If someone has become too drunk that it is ruining other's fun, they may be asked to leave the group. The Staff is not responsible for other's conduct at the Field TRIP.
Will we be riding the rides?
If time permits. The Field TRIP is intended to experience everything Halloween Horror Nights 18 has to offer.
What do I do if I or one of my guests is afraid to go inside a particular haunted house?
You can either wait in line with the group and exit the link before the group enters the house, wait for the group outside of the exit, or venture off and explore the park alone. You are more than welcome to "sit one out" and meet up with the group later.
Will we be buying Express Passes?
No. Express Passes are an extra charge and we do not think it would be fair to ask everyone to purchase tickets to get in and then spend the extra money for an Express Pass.
