Brendan Fraser made his appearance at Universal Studios Florida today to promote his new movie -- The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. It was said to be incredibly crowded with each and every one of his fans -- I'm told around 1,500 people -- coming from all corners of the globe to see him. That being said, I stayed home and made someone else take pictures for me.

Hey look! It's Jack the Clown without make-up. No, seriously. I swear that it's really him.

Then Brendan Fraser came out and sang some songs. First off, Bump N' Grind by R. Kelly...

Then, Shiny Happy People by REM...

Finally, he got serious in typical Brendan Fraser fashion and sang Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wings...

Then he stared blankly at his fans and pretended to be a statue...

...before striking the sexiest pose he could think of...

And that about sums it up.
Ok, I lied, but my version of the events were much more interesting from the sound of things. Apparently he came out and said a little about the movie, showed a clip, took a Q&A from the fans, threw out some shirts and DVDs, and gave away a grand prize which was a trip to the premiere of the movie. I'm sure he then rode the ride and even rolled his eyes at his own overacting in the "Welcome back..." video at the conclusion of the attraction.
